Bonnie Holden's Paper Dolls

  Mary 1910

1910 Tunic Dress

A lovely crepe' de sheen frock of deep rose with the ever-popular lace trim.

The softly draped crisscrossed bodice, flows to form a 3 tiered tunic skirt, banded

at the waist with a wide grosgrain ribbon.

The hats were enormous and many times were trimmed with ostrich plumes and flowers.

Mary's Undergarments

This undergarment is a two piece camisole and a bloomer slip combination

with a pink drawstring ribbon at the waist.  The fabric is white lawn with

delicate embroidery and stitchery, ribbon and lace trim.  The waist is no longer

cinched by torturous corsets, and is more natural and relaxed.

The 1910 Day Suit

The day suit is light blue serge, a popular fabric of the time.  The skirt has fine pleating for more ease of movement.   The jackets were of various lengths but rarely shorter than the jacket shown here.  The white blouse with lace trim and wide tucks is similar to those worn in the past Gibson Girl era.
