To become a father is probably the most important event in a man’s life and when it is a little girl all of those protective and nurturing instincts burst forth and are there for all time. First he is her best pal as she follows him like his little shadow. As she grows older the protective instinct is even greater as he is always there for her through the good times and the worrisome times. But one thing is certain. No matter how many years go by she will always be "Daddy’s Little Girl".
"My Dad"
To a little boy his dad is a giant in every way and he always says, "My Dad" with such pride. But it goes both ways, to a Dad his son is the greatest kid in the world and when he says, "My Son", it is with equal pride. As the years go by a special friendship evolves as he can tell his Dad anything and he will always be there to understand, and pride will always be heard as he says "My Dad". The house depicted in this scene was a popular style of the time, the "Single House". In this style home all of the rooms opened off of one side of the main entrance.
